Banda Bassotti is an Italian ska-punk band formed in 1981 in Rome, Italy. Their songs, political in nature, focus on Communist, social, working class, anti-Fascist, and anticorruption issues. They were inspired by socially engaged punk and ska bands, in particular The Clash and The Specials. They have travelled extensively around the world and now to Ireland ‘virtually’ with Féile 2020!

Xabi Solano Maiza and Special Guests.
Musician and composer Xabi Solano Maiza is renowned in his homeland and further afield as founder of some of the most exciting bands to come out of the Basque Country including Etzakit and Esne Beltza. He has also toured
extensively with Fermín Muguruza since 2004. He is an accomplished player of the ‘trikitilari’, an ancient Basque instrument, and we are delighted that Xabi is bringing these organic Basque sounds to Ireland.

Ovidi5 is a musical homage to Ovidi Montllor, a Catalan singer-songwriter and actor, who passed away in 1995. The Catalan band’s music reflects social, cultural, the Catalan language and political issues, and is a blend of
folk music and poetry.

Brame Di Corsica are a Corsican traditional music group fronted by Michel Cacciaguerra. They have been writing and singing songs in support of oppressed people on a local and international stage for over 40 years.
