Both of these are integrated GPUs that come with there respective generation of Core I laptop CPUs. You can expect about similar performance with both the GPUs as they are able to run most games with similar framerates and at the same settings. Other than the overall performance increase from 7th Gen to 8th Gen, there is no real need to upgrade to that for better gaming performance as both are same in terms of that.
