This tutorial looks at an important scale for saxophonists to explore being the harmonic minor scale. Comparison to the natural minor is made including using that scale as a reference point for determining the notes in the harmonic scale. Playing through chord changes using the harmonic minor scale is demonstrated in addition to ideas being provided to improve your finger freedom on the horn and creativity.
