The election is a process where the populace is allowed to choose their leaders at various levels from the federal to the state and the local governments in a democratic dispensation. The NOIPolls Election Series poll seek the views of Nigerians on voter registration ahead of the 2023 general elections and this is the third in the monthly election polls (the first was conducted in July 2023) as Nigerians countdown to the 2023 general elections.
Findings from the poll revealed majority of adult Nigerians (80 percent) disclosed that they have collected their permanent voter’s card ahead of the 2023 general elections, (17 percent) of adult Nigerians stated they have not collected their permanent voter’s card while (3 percent) disclosed they have applied for transfer of their PVC.
Furthermore, while (7 percent) of adult Nigerians stated they are not registered to vote in the 2023 general elections, an overwhelming proportion (93 percent) of Nigerians nationwide indicated they are registered to vote.
