Protein Bar Recipe:
1.5 cups cooked or canned chickpeas
1.5 cup rolled oats
0.5 cups powdered peanut butter
2 tbsp maple syrup (or use 3 tbsp, if not using dates)
2 medjool dates, pitted and soaked in hot water for 5 minutes (use 3-4 if not using maple syrup)
2-3 tbsp cacao or cocoa powder
1-3 tbsp water, to mix ingredients (use less for a dense, chewier bar or more for a softer, moist bar)
1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
1 tsp of instant coffee (optional - this will deepen the chocolate flavor)
