Storm Team 10 has issued a Weather Alert for the late holiday weekend as a nor'easter is expected to bring heavy rain, gusty winds, rough seas, and possible minor coastal flooding.

The main change to the forecast is the timing of the rain on Sunday. The latest guidance indicates that rain may hold off until the afternoon, allowing us to enjoy the holiday weekend a bit more. However, once it arrives, the steady rain will last for quite some time.

Expect gusty conditions with inland communities possibly seeing gusts of 30-40 mph from Sunday night into Monday afternoon.
