This video is also significant to me on a very personal level because it's the first time I've chosen not to hide my limb difference or edit it out, and that is something which I'm really proud to have done for disability pride month.

It’s something I’ve always tried to hide whenever I can and is something I’ve always felt self-conscious about it - especially when it comes to dancing and wearing anything which exposes my arm...
As a very shy and Autistic teenager, I’d wear long sleeves and hide my hand behind my back or in my pocket – convinced that everybody was staring at it and that was all they could see when they looked at me.
In the music videos we've made, I've always chosen to leave it out by being very picky and careful with the editing, afraid that it would put people off me, or stop them from watching. I’ve chosen to either hide my hand, or to keep it out of shot, which has been tricky, frustrating and very restrictive at times…
However, in this video I decided to just let it all go and put myself out there as I really am! 🤗 For the first time I’ve decided not to hide it, because frankly I’m just fed up, and life’s too short to care about something which is so insignificant (in the grand scheme of things).
My ‘lucky fin’ is there in all its wonderful glory, and for the first time in my life, I don’t care what anybody thinks! I’m proud that at the age of 35, I finally feel free and strong enough to be able to do this, so I wanted to share!
There’s more to me than just my hand, and my Autism but it’s a part of me I’ve learned to live with, and more than that; learned to dance with 💃💙🌟
