My journey in Techwomen 2019

TechWomen :
هي مبادرة استثنائية يرعاها مكتب الشؤون الثقافية التابع لوزارة الخارجية الأمريكية لدعم النساء الطموحات ذوات الخبرة ، حيث تسافر المشاركات إلى الولايات المتحدة من أجل العمل على مشاريع هادفة مع نظيراتهن الخبيرات من دول أخرى وتحت إشراف خبراء من كبرى شركات التقنية في منطقة وادي السيليكون في مدينة سان فرانسيسكو، وسيجري البرنامج على مدى خمسة أسابيع بداية من شهر أيلول من العام القادم. تقوم المشاركات بالعمل على مشاريع ذات اهتمام مشترك بينهن وبين المستضيف الذي يشرف على المشروع، والانخراط في ورش تطوير على الصعيد المهني، وسينتهي البرنامج في العاصمة واشنطن بحضور جميع المشاركات ضمن اجتماعات ومناسبات خاصة. كما تمنح هذه الفرصة للمشاركات إمكانية العمل في بيئة رائعة لتبادل الأفكار مع خبراء أجانب، وسيعطي البرنامج دفعة قوية لتطوير المسيرة المهنية للنساء في مجال عملهن وبناء روابط مع خبراء من مختلف أنحاء العالم.كما ستحظى المشاركات بفرصة استكشاف خليج سان فرانسيسكو ومنطقة وادي السيليكون، معقل أكبر شركات التقنية في العالم. سوف يغطي البرنامج جميع النفقات الأساسية كتذاكر السفر وتكاليف الإقامة إضافة إلى التأمين الصحي وتوفير وجبات الطعام طيلة فترة البرنامج. ملاحظة: لتكوني مؤهلة للمشاركة يجب أن تتمتعي بسنتين خبرة في إحدى المجالات التالية (العلوم، التقنية، الهندسة، الرياضيات)

TechWomen is a program designed to aid ambitious women from developing countries, this exceptional initiative is organized by the U.S. department of state's bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA). TechWomen “mentees” will work with American mentors along with other professional counterparts on specific projects at technology and innovation companies in San Francisco and Silicon Valley. The program will take place over five weeks beginning in September 2018. Accepted participants will work closely with their professional mentors to design meaningful projects of mutual interest while exploring the San Francisco bay area and the Silicon Valley which is home to many of the world's largest high-tech corporations. it is an excellent opportunity for professional women to advance their careers, build strong bonds with other professionals, and work in an inspiring environment for a rich exchange of ideas and expertise. Furthermore, participants will engage in professional development workshops and travel to Washington, DC. for meetings and special events to conclude the program. All major expenses, including round trip airfare, shared accommodation during the program, meals and health insurance are covered. Note: To be eligible you must be a woman with, at minimum, two years full-time professional experience in the STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) fields
