The Camden Healthy Start Community Action Network (CAN) launched a new father involvement initiative called 'Dads in the Picture.'
The multimedia campaign, designed to uplift fathers and father figures living in Camden, was promoted on New Jersey Transit buses, at PATCO Speedline stations, on social media and with literature shared directly in the community.
'Dads in the Picture' kicked off with a special breakfast for Camden fathers and featured an inspirational keynote address from Isaiah Coleman, a New Jersey husband, father, motivational speaker and mentor. Camden Mayor Vic Carstarphen and leaders from the Camden City School District also attended the breakfast launch.
We're here to support Camden fathers on their parenting journeys and we know that when dads are involved, children benefit and the whole family is stronger.
