”Lumiere” Creative Process / Contemporary Dance Creation

This Concert is aboutthe inner light. We use three languages - baroque music, contemporary dance, light design. In our program we explore the non-verbal expression in the language of the innner light, lumiere, poured into three different forms of art.

① Theme of inner light
② Selection of music and paintings
③ Composition based on textures created through live improvisation

Creative Process
This work began with searching for paintings and music that evoke inner light and tranquility, with the theme of "Lumiere (Light)."
In the studio, movement studies were conducted through improvisation, focusing on breathing, weight, and the relationship between the body and surrounding space.
These studies gradually shaped the structure of the choreography.
The music by Bach, Baroque cello performance, and lighting were decided for a space reminiscent of a Gothic church with an arched ceiling.

このプログラムのテーマは「内なる灯り」についてです。
バロック音楽、コンテンポラリーダンス、照明という三つの異なる表現をつかい
異なる形態の「芸術という器」に内なる灯り「ｌｕｍｉｅｒｅ」を満たします。

③ 生演奏によるインプロヴィゼーションで生まれた質感をベースにダンス構成

「創作過程」
この作品は、「Lumiere（光）」をテーマに内なる光と静けさを呼び起こす絵画と音楽探しから始まりました
スタジオでは、即興を通じて動きの研究が行われ、呼吸や重さ、身体と周囲の空間との関係に焦点が当てられました。
これらの研究は徐々に振付の構造を形成していきました。
アーチ型の天井をもったゴシック建築の教会を思わせる空間で、バッハの楽曲とバロック時代のチェロの演奏と照明が決まりました
