In this tutorial I use and review the Philip Kingsley Soft and Shiny Jet Set of products, and discuss elasticity and what it means to the health of your natural hair.

Phillip Kingsley Elasticizer is an intensive pre-poo treatment for all hair types. It adds elasticity, bounce, shine and makes hair more manageable. What I loved most is you could literally feel the hair was smoother during and after rinsing.

Philip Kingsley Moisture Balancing Shampoo gently cleanses hair and restores balance with wheat protein and a blend of anti-oxidants for protection. What I love most about this one is that it smoothes the cuticle, making it a good choice for all hair types, especially those who experience loss of hydration after styling.

Philip Kingsley Moisture Balancing Conditioner adds lots of moisture without weighing the hair down and helps with detangling. As with the entire line, it is safe for color-treated hair and works to restore lost moisture from over-processing or just regular wear and tear. What I loved was the added softness to the hair and how strong it felt during detangling. This conditioner really completed the process and sealed in moisture.

Keep and Care:
You can pin curl sections, set on rollers or pineapple the hair to keep the curls loose and wavy. Secure with a satin/silk scarf or cover with a satin bonnet, and this straightening should last at least one week.
