WEEKEND IN THE LAKE DISTRICT. Ladore Falls hotel & Spa // Ghyll Scrambling adventure

Описание: We decided to break our lake district virginity for our 2nd wedding anniversary and vlog the while thing!

We travelled to the Lake district, UK for a long weekend in September 2019. We visited Windermere on the route to our hotel in Keswick.
Whist we were in Windermere we had brunch at Homeground coffee. Which was AMAZING!! We had the huevos rancheros. SO YUMMY! I Would recommend if you are passing through. From there we wondered down to the Lake itself. Windermere was quite a large town in the lake district. Which had a lot of tourists there. If a nice quite place is your type of thing, i would NOT recommend Windermere. As it has mroe of a seaside town feel.

We stayed at the amazing ladore falls hotel and spa. Which is located just outside of Keswick, on Derwent water in The Lake District. It was a perfect mix of traditional and modern styling. The original building was a very traditional classic style hotel. But we stayed in the brand new side, The Falls Spa. The room we stayed in was amazing! So spacious and beautifully designed interiors. It had a bathroom of DREAMS! So stunning.

We stayed there for 3 nights. We ate in both restaurants in the hotel, Mizu which offered pan asian style food. Ann the Lake View resturant, which had more of a british menu. We enjoyed the food in both.

We also tried out the falls spa! It was one of the nicest spa's i've been to. I think it had something to do with how new and modern it was. And the fact it wasn't too large. It seemed just perfect. We had a full body massage there which was really relaxing. And we also had a rasul too! That was entertaining to say the least.

Whilst we were in Keswick on the Suday, we had booked to go Ghyll Scrambling with Keswick adventured Ltd. I CAN'T RECOMMEND THIS ENOUGH!! It was a highlight in my weekend! It was a huge adrenaline fuelled adventure afternoon! If you are in the Lake district and enjoya bit of thrill seeking i would definitely recommend this!

All in all, we had the most wonderful anniversary weekend in the Lake District. Eating loads of yummy food, relaxing in the spa and in the hotel room. Jumping off waterfalls. And most importantly just spending quality time together!
