First Person View of the alternate proposed bike route in Wellfleet. P2 - Old Count rd to Gull Pond

Описание: The bike trail in Wellfleet is being extended from south Wellfleet to Truro.
The current DCR (Department of Conservation and Recreation) ends the extension on an unnamed road adjacent to Way 68, a fifth of a mile south of the Main st. intersection on route 6. (See map 1)
A 2 lane bike lane would be added to the east (right) side of rt 6. Stop signs will also be required on either side of each "curb cut" (driveway or entrance) along the road to Truro.
This video aims to highlight an available alternate plan put together by the Cape Cod Commission through town owned property, mostly along the power lines and back roads. They feel that the current plan to end the trail at rt 6 is dangerous, and would like to emphasize that they are hoping to work together as a community to find a safe, agreeable solution.

This video was filmed entirely on town and private property, no dogs were harmed in the making, although they did have a very nice walk.
