This video shows how to replace the stock 2012 Prius C head unit with a Double Din aftermarket unit. In the video I had a few issues with the head unit losing connection in Android Auto, and this turned out to be due to the USB extension cable I installed. I'd suggest avoiding using any extension cable and only using the adapter that comes with the head unit if possible.
