T'puram: VM Sudheeran has launched a ferocious attack on the leadership of the state unit of the Congress and warned Oommen Chandy, Chennithala and MM Hassan that they should introspect on what they had done in the past. Sudheeran said that was a conspiracy behind the allotment of the Rajya Sabha seat to Kerala Congress (M). He dismissed Hassan's contention that a similar situation prevailed when parties like the RSP were admitted into the UDF. Oomen Chandy was criticised for his role in the move against K Karunakaran in 1994.
