This is an intense Sicario film scene from when halted at traffic at the Mexican border in Mexico. here is some trivia :
The border crossing scene was one of the most complicated parts of the production. It took so long to shoot that a full scale replica of the Juarez border crossing was built. Shooting at the real location would have required days of road closures, which would not have been practical.
Bordering with south United States, Juarez is located in the north end of Mexico. However, shooting for the "Across the border" scene actually took place in the outskirts of Mexico City, in the central region of the country. On certain clips, one can see the name of the municipality "Cd. Neza" (short for Ciudad Nezahualcóyotl) as well as a campaign banner rooting for the mayor elected on the year of filming.
The word "Sicario" means "hitman" or "gunman" in Spanish. It also means "paid assassin" in Italian.
