In this beginners guide tutorial video I show you a practice drill you can use to "island hop" around Everon to get better at your Helicopter Navigation, by identifying landmarks, usually towns or villages , and finding their associated safe helicopter landing zones.
This is a good practice tutorial not only for your navigation skills, but also your helicopter landing skills. Practice fast J-Turn landing, slowing flare landings and vertical precision landings.
Knowing the best places to land is especially helpful when playing the Conflict Game mode in Arma Reforger, and if you can navigate from point to point without needing a map or guide you'll get their faster & safer.
