Today, we are gonna be turning a basic t shirt into a deconstructed shredded top!
Apparently, there has been a lot of subverted basic moment happening lately among brands and during the recent Fashion Week. Think: cobweb knits, peek-a-boo deconstructed tops, #flossing, cut-out tank tops, repurposed stockings ala Marine Serre. What is going on? Is this the neo-grunge movement of the present and the future?
It brought me back in time (hello Tumblr days!) since I was one of those DIY bloggers who had a penchant for destroyed grunge-up fits and Kesha.
