Beautiful Bold – Wood Chips & Resin Bowl Turning
In this video, I turn a unique bowl made from wood chips embedded in resin, creating a dramatic and bold texture with striking contrast. The natural fragments of wood form a beautiful pattern that becomes even more impressive after the polishing process.
For the finishing, I use two stages of rubbing compound:
• Coarse rubbing compound to remove sanding marks
• Fine rubbing compound to achieve a smooth, deep, and glossy finish
This combination brings out the clarity of the resin and the warm tones of the wood chips, resulting in a standout decorative piece.
