if you've ever wanted to know how to make an elevator in Minecraft 1.19, here's my super simple multi-floor player elevator. It's very fast between floors and very compact, in just a 6x6 space. The elevator will work on any Bedrock platform including MCPE, Mobile, Windows 10, console, XBOX, PlayStation and Switch.
It features a 2x2 player cabin and can be expanded to any number of floors by just repeating the middle floor design. The redstone is very simple, using just torches, pistons and redstone dust. It's two way, allowing you to go up or down at the press of a button.
There are no flying machines. The mechanic used is based on piston translocation, but unlike existing piston translocation elevators, it looks a lot better (there is no visible piston or slime) and it's a lot quieter and easier to build in survival.
This elevator was originally designed in 1.16, but broke in 1.17.30. However, it's now working again in 1.19.60+ (yay)
