this autumnal episode of Destination Michigan. First, we will explore the science
behind fall foliage as we cruise for colors that will ‘peak’ the interest of all
Michiganders. Next, we’ll appeal to your sense of taste with a stop in Wheeler for a
sample of Eastman’s Forgotten Ciders. Then, if pumpkin picking is your favorite
pastime, we’ve got just the spot for you in Beaverton at the Wild Pumpkin.
We’ll introduce you to a high school student in Shepherd whose entrepreneurial and
agricultural skills keep stomachs full at his Country Crops Farmers Market. Then,
we’re off to Au Gres for a ‘Dill-licious’ pickle snack that you’ll really relish. Finally,
we’ll bend an elbow and discover how Mount Pleasant Brewing Company in Mt. Pleasant keeps
patrons coming back for their potent potables.
