McLaren's MCL40 finally hits the track! We got our first proper look at the reigning World Champions' 2026 F1 challenger during Day 3 of the Barcelona pre-season shakedown. Lando Norris, for the first time was wearing the #1 on the MCL40 for the first time as reigning World Champion, takes his new car out for its debut installation laps and more under sunny (but chilly) conditions at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.
But what about it's overall design? Well, while on first glance it may seem a plain or vanilla challenger, there's a lot more to it than meets the eye. The front wing being the most sophisticated one seen up and down the grid. Let's go over the car and see what we can find!
