TellTale is finally back... kinda. While we wait for The Wolf Among Us 2 to escape development hell and get released in 2030, AdHoc Studio, full of the remnants of TellTale - pulling rank about The Walking Dead, The Wolf Among us and the less known Tales from The Borderlands - are announcing Dispatch, a game where you pretty much see what it's like to be Cecil Stedman from Invincible. You play MechaMan, a superhero out of commission who has been given the opportunity to work at SDN, the Superhero Dispatch Network. The SDN makes reformed criminals and superheroes help around certain areas in the city around the world, and pretty much function like a call center but instead of scamming you or making your life hell, you send them a tweet or something and there's a 50/50 chance they'll help. Of course, it's up to you to run things smoothly, and although this game has been marketed as a "workplace comedy where choices matter", Telltale isn't exactly known for having them matter, but hopefully this game is more fleshed out than most. With a stacked cast including Jacksepticeye, Moist Critikal, and Aaron Paul of all people, this game is looking to be insanely promising, and unless I lock in and go non-verbal, expect to see it in the near future.
