We normally think of science as being about discovery, trying to prove ourselves wrong, and moving toward the objective truth.
Historian and philosopher Thomas Kuhn says that this "textbook" model of science is completely wrong. His book, "The Structure of Scientific Revolutions", claims that science is instead about twisting the facts to fit the theory, and that theories are not chosen based on the evidence.
In this video, I summarise and give my thoughts on this controversial book about the philosophy of science.
