Описание: It was truly an honor to spend time with the retirees of Michigan Millwrights Local #1102 during a Community Wellness Life seminar focused on education, connection, and alternative wellness solutions for a more comfortable retirement.
These are incredible men who quite literally gave their bodies to build the infrastructure of our great state. Decades of hard, back-breaking labor—often while working around hazardous materials like asbestos—have left many facing chronic arthritis, persistent pain, cancers, and other debilitating health challenges.
This gathering wasn’t about promises or quick fixes. It was about listening, sharing knowledge, and exploring supportive, holistic options that may help improve quality of life. Along the way, we made genuine friendships and have continued supporting several retirees as they move toward a healthier, more comfortable, and more empowered lifestyle.
Seeing the openness, gratitude, and heartfelt response from this group was deeply moving and inspiring. This is why Community Wellness Life exists—to serve, to educate, and to walk alongside those who’ve given so much.
