Inside a Chinese Laser Cutter Factory

I went inside Thunder Laser’s factory in Dongguan, China to see how modern CO₂ laser cutters are really built, from raw sheet metal to finished machines ready to ship. We saw everything from welding, wiring, a burn-in room full of invisible laser beams. Along the way I learned a ton about why RF tubes are so much better than glass tubes, and how they're a real game changer for laser cutters, as well as what really matters if you’re thinking about buying a laser cutter for your own shop or hackerspace.
