 Schloss Schonbrunn, or Schonbrunn Palace means 'beautiful spring' and it were a royal hunting park when the architect planned to build a luxurious palace to rival Versailles.

 This Baroque palace consist of 1,441-room, is one of the most important architectural, historical, and cultural monuments in the country.

 Since the middle of 1950s, it has been a major attraction for the Austrisn tourist.

 Schönbrunn Palace is previously used as imperial summer residence situated in Vienna, Austria.

 Over the last 300 years of it’s history, represents the changing tastes, interests, and aspirations of successive Habsburg monarchs.

 The sculpted garden area between the Sun Fountain and palace is called the Great Parterre. In 1695 The French garden which is a big part of the area, was planned by Jean Trehet.

 On the top of the hill, Gloriette (a building in a garden) is always included for the visitor of the park. This place affords a lordly view over the park and a panoramic view of Vienna.

 Schönbrunn Palace Garden gloriette is the largest and most well-known gloriette in Vienna.

 This building was constructed as the last building in the garden according to the plans of Austrian imperial architect Johann Ferdinand in 1775.

 Since 2008, a yearly bonus for visitors is the annual Midsummer Night’s Concert and it is performed in this park by the Vienna Philharmonic.
