Early, rudimentary dub implementations of echo and on-the-fly mixing show up on raw dub plate versions of tracks like the ska-flavored "Pass It On" and the slightly more high-fidelity dub mixes of "Soul Rebel" and "Dreamland," which stand out on this collection of solid grooves and jagged, dreamy production.
