Al Baraka Well: Water at the Doorstep

Peace and blessings be upon you all.

On the evening of Monday, April 28th, 2025, in the city of ndianda, we inaugurated Well No. 31, named “Al-Baraka” (Blessing). This well was generously funded by donors who requested to remain anonymous, asking only that the following prayer be written:
“Our Lord, accept this from us. Indeed, You are the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing.”
Indeed, Allah hears their intentions and knows their conditions. He will surely reward them abundantly.

They chose to keep their charity private, in the spirit of Allah’s words:
“And if you conceal it and give it to the poor, it is better for you.”

This blessed well will, by Allah’s permission, bring relief and daily benefit to the residents of this village—people who previously had to walk long distances to fetch water. Today, the well stands right before their homes. They can now drink, wash their clothes and utensils, and meet their needs with ease and dignity.

We also extend our heartfelt thanks to Mrs. Aïcha Gomez, who served as a gracious intermediary in making this project a reality. May Allah bless her and prolong her life in goodness.

Finally, we emphasize that the need remains. There are still many villages suffering from a lack of clean water. The door to goodness is open, and the call to serve humanity continues.

May Allah reward you abundantly, bless your efforts, and multiply your rewards.
