This is Serra, also known as Pyrrhichios, the legendary Pontic Greek war dance.
Serra is one of the oldest Greek dances, with roots reaching back to ancient Greek military tradition.
The movements are powerful, grounded, and explosive, symbolizing combat, resistance, and survival.
Traditionally performed by men, though today women also dance it, Serra expresses courage, discipline, and collective memory.
