Ruger firearms are now at the center of a growing gun ban push.
Maryland lawmakers are advancing legislation that could prohibit certain striker-fired pistols. While the bill doesn’t name brands directly, Glock-pattern designs — including Ruger’s RXM — have been pulled into the conversation.
At the same time, Ruger has faced pressure from activists and state officials to stop production of the RXM. Instead of backing down, Ruger signaled something very different.
