This video introduces a design- and innovation-driven approach to addressing sexual violence against girls as a systemic issue rather than an individual failure. It challenges passive protection models and emphasizes the urgent need to embed safety into social, educational, and technological systems.
By integrating rights-based, age-appropriate education, technology-enabled reporting and support mechanisms, and the redesign of physical and digital environments, this project aims to reduce risk, enable early intervention, and ensure accessible protection for girls. Central to the approach is the empowerment of women as innovators, educators, and leaders who actively shape safer and more inclusive systems.
Aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, this project calls for intentional design that prioritizes safety as the foundation of gender equality, empowerment, and sustainable development.
