First Look at Germany’s Mega Railway Project "Stuttgart 21"

Описание: Today I’m taking you inside one of the most ambitious railway projects in Europe – Stuttgart 21.

During a special open day, I had the chance to visit the construction site and explore parts of the future station. We started inside the historic Bonatz building, over 100 years old and completely stripped down, where a new multi-level shopping area is being created.

From there, we moved outside to see the famous “light eyes” and the top of the impressive chalice-shaped columns, which will later bring natural light deep into the underground station. This area will also become part of a new park connected to the Rosensteinpark.

One of the highlights was going down into the station itself – not all the way to the tracks, but enough to get a first look at the massive concrete structures and the unique architecture of the future platforms.

There were also presentations from companies involved in the project, plus some fun activities, especially for kids, and a visit up the project tower with a great overview of the site.
