Medellín (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Medell%C3%And) is the capital of the department of Antioquia (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Antioqu.... Antioquia is a department in northeastern Colombia, full of tourist places and towns that are worth visiting.
When going to Medellín it is necessary to visit the destinations around the city. For example, Guatapé (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guatapé) and El Peñol are must go destinations. Guatapé is the most colorful town in Colombia and is 2 hours by car from Medellín. Jardín is located three hours by car from Medellín, a town surrounded by mountains and with great biodiversity, characteristic of Colombia. For its part, Jericó is considered the most beautiful town in Antioquia and is located two and a half hours by car from Medellín.
Other plans you can do on your visit to Medellín is to go to a coffee farm and take a coffee tour. An hour and a half by car from Medellín is Fredonia (https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fredoni..., there you can spend a few nights at Hacienda La Sierra (https://experienceoromolido.com), a coffee farm in Antioquia where you can take a tour of the coffee plantations, you can even plant your own tree.
