Here we have a beautiful Mosrite "The Ventures" excellent '65 model, in three tone sunburst built sometime in the 1990's in Japan.
Built as a reissue of the original Mosrite Ventures models from the 60's, it does an excellent job of recreating all the vibe and mojo of the guitars of that time, with hot and warm pickups that are smooth like silk but have some gnarly growl when paired with some gain. Its easy to see why this guitar has become a cult favourite for alternative rock and punk bands. This guitar has had a full rewire with fresh pots and electronics, as well as a full fret job and set up so it plays like a dream.
Just like they were back in the day this guitar has a super skinny "C" shape neck profile and 14" fretboard radius, meaning that it plays very easily and leaves you feeling unlimited and inspired.
So go ahead and grab yourself a killer guitar with more mojo than you can shake a stick at!
