A real week in my life as a long distance wife in Houston, Texas. My husband is in Jamaica, 1,338 miles away. This vlog covers Sunday through Wednesday. I start with Healing Place Church online from Baton Rouge. I journal. I work out. I try to stay consistent while navigating distance.
I work from home as a medical billing specialist. I talk to the camera about what this routine feels like. I make Delore Creations t-shirt orders. I cook lunch. I clean my kitchen. Some days I eat leftovers because energy is low. I watch Alicia Kim on my lunch break for motivation.
Hurricane Melissa hit Jamaica while I was filming. My husband had no electricity. I was safe in Houston and dealing with survivor’s guilt. I talk through that. I share the emotional side without hiding it.
