Aside from the couple of random encounters where all of my characters got paralyzed and couldn't do anything, Zoma was the hardest fight in the main game.
And honestly: That's pretty refreshing for a final boss, a bunch of the final bosses in RPG's I've been playing lately were either too easy with minor grinding, or too easily cheesed, or easily beaten because of overpowered combos.
