It happened yet again on May 10, 2021 thanks to Madison Fao launching a two-run home run with two outs in the bottom of the fifth inning to force the mercy rule and defeat visiting Venice, 13-2 in a nonleague game. Fao follows fellow teammates Sierra Sandoval (April 29 vs. Gardena) and Jordan ‘Jo Jo’ Krause (May 6 vs. Carson) with walk-off home runs on campus in the last 11 days for the Pirates.
