Solo Flawless MASTER Root of Nightmares

Jokes aside, this challenge was genuinely painful given how inconsistent Nezarec can be sometimes, and how boring the first two encounters are. I joke that I turn off my brain for the first 20 minutes before needing to lock in for Explicator. Overall though the main difficulty comes from the running phases on both explicator and especially nezarec since if you drop amplified or devour at any point, survivability becomes very sketchy. Damage becomes very straightforward after your become familiar with the rotations, which only took me a couple of hours to fully get down. For nezarec though the biggest thing I realized to make hitting damage a non-issue was to make sure I was hitting either his shoulder or stomach crit at all times. This significantly made hitting damage more consistent, although occasionally your mint shots would hit threadlings spawning out of you which is somewhat annoying, but is avoidable if you aim for his shoulder (I've heard).

Very glad I had the foresight to take cover during final stand, resulting in me missing some crits with mint, but still getting the clear. Goes to show that split second decisions like these can drastically change the outcome of the clear, and are signs that I am continuing to evolve into a better execution player. It's something I've learned to account for over time, which is to expect the unexpected at all times.
