In this video I will share with you my practical full day of eating on The Starch Solution, which can easily make you lose weight. This is the Starch Solution HCLF program. This isn’t any fad diet but a well balanced, nutritionally dense, low calorie way of eating and living. The recipes in this program are very simple, a starch and a non starch, nothing crazy. As it is a purely plant based program, anybody can follow it. I show you what I am eating and how to prepare all the food. See below for all the recipes from this episode.

Baked Oats Recipe:
1/2 cup rolled oats
1/2 a banana
1/4 cup almond milk (or milk of choice)
2 tablespoons almond butter
1 tablespoon maple syrup
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 tsp vanilla extract
Pinch of sea salt
1/4 cup frozen berries
Add the oats, banana, almond milk, almond butter, syrup, baking powder, extract, and salt into a bowl. Mix together. Fold in the frozen berries. Pour into ramekins. Preheat the oven to 350ºF. Bake for 25 minutes until the top is golden. Remove and let cool. Top with almond butter and some extra bananas. Enjoy.

Fritada Recipe:
Veggies: Stir fry some of your favorite veggies and set aside
Filling: (Jaroudi Family Recipe):
1 1/3 cups chickpea flour
1 3/4 cups unsweetened unflavored non-dairy milk
1/3 cup nutritional yeast
2 tsp baking powder
1 tbsp onion powder
1 tbsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
Pinch of black pepper
Mix all ingredients together until batter is smooth
Fold in any chopped veggies you'd like!
We love green onions, broccoli, red bell pepper, and tomatoes.
Add mixture to a 12 silicone or parchment paper lined muffin pan.
Bake at 400 degrees for 25 mins until golden brown on top.
Let them cool and then remove from silicone muffin pan.

Cheesy Zucchini Noodles:
5 small zucchinis, spiralized into noodles
1 diced onion
1 diced red pepper
3 tbsp vegetable stock or water
1 tbsp garlic powder
1/2 cup nutritional yeast
salt and pepper, to taste
Add the zucchini, onion and red pepper to a pan with the vegetable stock. Cook over medium heat for a few minutes. Add the garlic powder and nutritional yeast and cook for a few minutes until everything is combined and creamy. Add salt and pepper, to taste.
I served this with a baked sweet potato.
