Описание:
A slipper-shaped ciliate swims through clumps of algae as seen under a microscope. This freshwater sample was taken from a suburban neighborhood pond in New Albany, Ohio, on Sunday, October 16, 2011 and displayed at COSI's table at the 2011 Ohio Association for Gifted Children annual conference.
The movie was taken using a Ken-a-Vision microscope and edited on an Apple MacBook using iMovie.
