From my home village of Waverton (Chester) I decided to take a 3 hour long walk into the wonderful ruins of Beeston Castle, Cheshire. The castle was a former royal residence and even has findings from both the iron age and bronze age! The standing castle was founded in the 1220's Ranulf De Blondeville, the Earl of Chester, until King Henry III of England took ownership in the 1230's.
After I was done vlogging around Beeston I then took on a 40 minute walk to the 19th century gothic Peckforton Castle. The castle is now a 4 star hotel and is said to be the hub for some very special visitors. Even Santa Claus!
When I was done at Peckforton I then took a 30 minute walk to the Pheasant inn (one of my favourite pubs). Very friendly staff, great beer and fantastic food! The building itself was first built in 1650 as a local farm house, then transformed into a pub within the 1800's weh whey!
I apologise for some of the video being cropped, despite some of my attempts to try and change it.
