Описание: A Coast Guard Station Gloucester, Mass. 25-foot response boat crew assisted a lone fisherman in an 18-foot center console pleasure craft after getting word he could not start his outboard engine and was in danger of drifting into the rocky shoreline of Misery Island off Beverly, Mass., Sunday, July 26, 2009. While the Coast Guard boat was en route, the fisherman was able to push his boat away from the rocks with a four-foot fishing net and re-start the engine in two-to-four-foot seas. He was found safe and sound about 400 yards away from the dangerous shoreline. The Coast Guard boat escorted the fisherman back to Beverly Harbor to ensure he returned to port safely and in case the engine lost power again.
