The Paul Bourke Award by the Academy of Social Sciences in Australia honours Australian scholars in the early part of their career who have achieved excellence in scholarship in one or more fields of the social sciences.
Emma Hutchison was an Associate Professor of International Relations and ARC DECRA Fellow at the University of Queensland at the time of her death in November 2024.
