Alternate version of "It's All Over Now Baby Blue" from the 13 hours of videotape known collectively as "The Best of the Leon Russell Festivals - Out of the Deep Freeze".

Taken from surviving offline U-matic timecode window burn submasters.
Filmed in Long Beach, California.

For the record, this didn't make it onto the DVD for a couple of reasons.
First, this was the only surviving video copy of the footage and as you can see, it's the offline TIME CODE window dub with the time code numbers up in the corner. That's okay for YouTube, but kinda dodgy for a retail product unless it's a documentary.
What my now deceased boss did with the original reels is anyone's guess, another one of his messes that I was left with.
Second, as you can see, it's a bit glitchy, also a no-no.

Part of the reissue is from the surviving sub-master tapes, part of it is from the second set of original reels. And to this day I will never know why Alan did not like this version originally when we put this out on VHS.
He was the boss, I was the hired help.

Who knows, maybe someday I will get another mystery phone call from someone in Alan Pacella's family: "We picked up these reels and didn't know what they were, and then yesterday someone explained it to us and we didn't know that Alan had signed 50% of them over to you" etc etc.

My guess is the second set of reels sat in the closet of his creditor that he owned five thousand dollars to while the first set of reels (containing this footage) probably wound up in some landfill in L.A. County after his other family members (who he didn't get along with) couldn't figure out what the hell they were.

I'm really lucky that the guy sitting on the second set of reels figured out how to contact me.
