Bir is a village located in the west of Joginder Nagar Valley in the state of Himachal Pradesh in northern India. Mostly referred as “Paragliding Capital of India”, Bir is also a noted centre for ecotourism, spiritual studies and meditation. Bir is also home to a Tibetan refugee settlement with several Buddhist monasteries and a large stupa. While Billing is the takeoff site for paragliding and Bir village is for landing; collectively it is known “Bir Billing”


Delhi – Ambala – Banur (chandigarh bypass) – kiratpur – Anandpur Sahib – Nagal – Una – Amb – Kangra – Palampur – Baijnath – Bir road – Bir : – 550 km. (Prefereable route).

HIDDEN WATERFALL in Bir Billing, Himachal Pradesh
We explore the hidden waterfall of Bir Billing in Himachal Pradesh. It was an adventurous hike from Gunehar waterfall in Bangoru Valley. They also call this waterfall Gunehar waterfall or Bangoru waterfall. We start the trek from main Bir and it took 1.5 hrs to complete the 4km trek. We were sure to not take any help from any guide but we were wrong.
And we came in contact of Mr. Sunil Kumar (guide) 8544737857
Rs200 per person.


Gunehar Waterfalls is the prime attraction of the Gunehar village, tucked away on a hillock around 1.5 km away from Bir in Himachal Pradesh. At a height of 100 ft., the gorgeous waterfall can be reached through a short trek from the village and is surely going to be one of the most thrilling and enriching experiences of your life.
