Spicy Chicken Fry Recipe:
Chicken - 500 grams
Cashew - 12 nos
To Grind:
Onion - 2 nos
Garlic - 8 Cloves
Ginger - 1 inch
Curry Leaves - 15 nos
Water - ½ Cup
For Marination:
Ghee - 2 tbsp
Red Chilli Powder - 2 tsp
Turmeric Powder - ¼ tsp
Garam Masala Powder - 1 tsp
Salt - ½ tsp
Lemon Juice - 2 tsp
Coriander Leaves - 2 tbsp
To Fry:
Oil - 3 tbsp
Curry Leaves - 15 nos
Green Chilli (slit) - 2 no
Black Pepper Powder - ¼ tsp
Coriander Leaves - 1 tbsp
Cooking Instructions:
1. Add the Cashews in a mixer grinder and grind it into a fine powder.
2. Add all the ingredients under “To grind” in a mixer grinder and grind it into a smooth paste.
3. In a mixing bowl, add chicken, ghee, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, garam masala powder, salt, lemon juice, coriander leaves, ground paste, mix well, and set aside.
4. Heat oil in a pan, add curry leaves, green chilli and saute for a minute.
5. Add the marinated chicken to the pan. Saute for a minute, mix well. Cover and cook this on a medium flame until the chicken is cooked. It would take around 5 to 6 mins.
6. Turn on high flame, continue to cook the chicken for 5 mins.
7. Add black pepper powder, ground cashew nut powder, mix well and roast the chicken for 5 mins on high flame.
8. Add coriander leaves and remove from the heat.
