"TREMEC Install, Part 9a: How to remove your pilot bearing, and clutch install", can be applied to all TREMEC installs. In this episode, we're need to remove the old Pilot Bearing, install the flywheel, clutch, and re-install the bell housing. Which is a little different, with offset alignment dowel pins. You'll notice I leave the dowel pins in the bell housing. I studied the dynamics, and determined it will not affect our originally set alignment. The split end of the dowel is solid at the base, and provides our final alignment, when pressed into the block. Super easy.

This is a very thorough description of what to do, how to do it, and what to watch out for. Mike is at the tail end of rebuilding his Pontiac 400, which is now a Butler Performance 467, because a Roller Lifter Broke! (see link below).
