HVCRC reconductoring in Montenegro (110kV line for CGES)

Описание: Reconductoring performed by Elnos Group with HVCRC® conductors from Nexans and Epsilon Cable.

HVCRC® are High Temperature / High Capacity Low Sag conductors made of a strong lighweight composite core and trapezoidal aluminum wires, designed to improve line ampacity, reduce sag and electrical losses on Transmission & Distribution overhead lines.

Compared with traditional conductors, HVCRC® conductors allow to double the ampacity of a transmission or distribution line, or to decrease line losses by up to 30%, among other benefits.

Several thousands of kilometers of HVCRC® conductors have been installed and electrified successfully around the world since 2011.
