There were thousands of runners so I suppose it took about half an hour for all of them to pass the start line.
The runners going from left to right at the bottom of the hill are 1.9 km from the start.
The route went to Podgórze and back.
The runners going from right to left at the bottom of the hill are 8 km from the start. That is just before they turn to start running up the hill, past me, and through the castle to come out the castle gate at the top of the road in the video.
The hairpin turn in the video is 9 km from the start.
I wanted to post a link to a runner's GoPro through the castle, but I haven't found any on Youtube.
Good luck recognising any runner in the darkness who wasn't wearing a conspicuous costume.
Something unusual happens at 29:06.
I didn't wait for the slowest stragglers who only walked up the hill.
